I was moving from a 1 bedroom house. It is true that I had a lot of clothes, plus a small wardrobe, bed, TV, and chest of drawers (which didn't need disassembly). However, it took 2 MTC movers, plus me and my sister (in the last 2.5 hours) in total of 5 hours to pack and load the van. Hence, there wasn't enough time left for the unpacking - which I was promised. Just one year ago, I had the same stuff packed and loaded by another company (2 workers again) within 3.5 hours.On the phone call I made with Carlos, I was promised movers wouldn't leave without unpacking everything. However, when the day came, it sounded like they didn't know it was going to be whole day job. Again, I said this clearly on my phone call to Carlos that it would probably take time.In the end, I had to do the unpacking the whole of the next 2 days with an injured back and I'm taking time off work now to heal. I also have been charged for the use of 27 boxes, however half of the boxes used were mine, and some of the ones the movers brought with them were wet.Finally, I had to pay a 10 pound extra for a paypal transaction as they wouldn't accept credit cards, which I should have been warned from the beginning.Again though, I would like to say Pedro was an extremely hardworking mover, and Carlos was a polite manager. And nothing was broken, damaged or lost, I have to be fair.
