This was what I think would be a difficult move. I have a woodworkinmg workshop on the first floor that needed to be moved to a new space, also on the first floor. No lifts available in either place. They moved heavy, bulky items such as a full-size band saw, a large thickness/planer, a full-size sdust collector, a heavy-duty sliding compound mitre saw, and a lot of timber. The three men who did this move were just fantastic! They worked fast, they worked professionally, they worked carefully, and they made the whole move seem effortless. And they were nice guys, too. I thought this might take all day, but in three hours the entire job was complte. The quote I was given was accurate--no surprises or hidden surcharges. The whole move, from arranging the booking to paying the final fee was smooth. I'd use them again, and I highly recommend this company to anyone who needs to move heavy items.

Response from the owner:Thank you so much, Richard, for taking the time to leave such a detailed review! ⭐ We’re delighted that our team made what looked like a challenging workshop relocation feel straightforward and efficient. Moving heavy and bulky machinery between first-floor locations with no lifts requires careful planning, teamwork and experience, so it’s fantastic to hear that our movers completed everything safely and professionally in just three hours. At MTC Removals, we take pride in providing reliable business removals in London, professional office relocation services, and specialist heavy item moving, with clear pricing and no unexpected surprises. 🚚 Thank you again for trusting us with your move and for recommending our team. We’d be very happy to help you again in the future! 🙏 Kind regards, Carlos MTC Removals Team

I used MTC Removals for my move and packing, and this was the first time I’d also paid for professional packing. It was absolutely worth it! The packing was much better and faster than I could ever have done myself, which made unpacking so much easier. I’d definitely recommend the packing service to anyone who doesn’t have the time to pack themselves. They brought all the boxes and took them away afterwards too. The guys were lovely, professional, friendly and very efficient. Everything was extremely organised and professional—much better than my previous experiences with removal companies. I definitely recommend MTC Removals!

Response from the owner:⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Another great review for MTC London Removals Company! We’re very pleased to hear that our customer had such a positive experience with our London removals and professional packing service. Our team provided the packing materials, carefully packed everything and made the whole moving process faster, easier and more organised. 📦🚚 If you’re planning a move and don’t have time to pack, our professional packing service in London can take care of everything for you. Moving house is never easy, but these guys honestly made it a lot less stressful. I moved from Islington to Greenwich and used MTC Removals for the packing, the move itself, and even to get rid of a few pieces of furniture I no longer needed. The whole team worked really hard, were polite, and treated my belongings with care. Big thanks to Ailton, Juliano, Pedro, Fernando and Tiago – everyone was friendly and got on with the job without any fuss. I’d also like to mention Soraya and Carlos in the office, who kept everything organised and answered all my questions before moving day. It was great knowing everything had been planned properly. I’m really pleased I chose MTC Removals and wouldn’t hesitate to use them again in the future. Carlos' crew ran a smooth and seamless operation and we couldn't be happier with our move. The guys arrived ten minutes early and helped pack and move our 2BR/2BA flat. Everyone was very professional, respectful and polite. We had a couple of big furniture items in the top floor of a small Victorian conversion, and the guys disassembled and moved them with no issue at all. They also helped us put all the furniture back together at our new place after a very long day of work. Everything was well packed and safely moved to the new place. Thank you guys!

Response from the owner:Thank you so much, Caroline, for your fantastic feedback and for trusting MTC Packers Movers London with your 2-bedroom flat move 🙏 We’re delighted to hear that the move went smoothly and that you were happy with the professional, respectful, and efficient service provided by our team. The best moving experience, we can't thank you enough for bringing ease into what was a stressful experience. We were dreading the process of moving and in a matter of a few hours your team had us packed, moved out and moved in to our new flat, with all the boxes labeled and organised by room. We really appreciate your professionalism, punctuality, efficiency, and care in handling our belongings, thank you! Highly recommend to anyone who needs a reliable, trustworthy removals company. We had quotes from three different companies to move a two-bed flat, and MTC Removals provided the best option with flexibility and competitive pricing. They gave us a very accurate estimate for the contents to be moved, both in terms of cost and time, and Soraya answered all of our questions. We'd read reviews of other companies that took a long time packing and were hesitant to go ahead given that the services were hired by the hour. We are so glad we chose them, they are clearly expert packers, careful, swift and efficient. All of our belongings, including my most prized and delicate kitchen appliances, arrived without a single dent. They were also really careful with the walls of both flats. Thank you Fernando and Dyego for such a great experience, and for making this process easier for us!

The guys came earlier than the arranged time and were ready to carry out the removal. They were so understanding as they had to wait 15 mins for me to arrive. Very were very efficient, patient and respectful of myself and the item. They took time to wrap the 77’ TV carefully with bubble wrap and cardboard to protect the screen. They had a pleasant and cheerful manner, did not mind carrying the TV down two flights of stairs after being told that they could not use the lift. They secured the TV in the removal van and delivered in tact at the delivery address. Upon arrival there , they positioned the TV for me on the stand. removed all wrapping and checked the TV to see if working okay. Everything went smoothly- they even accepted taking a large art picture I had . Highly recommended. Thanks for a good job 😊

Response from the owner:Hi Caz, Thank you so much for taking the time to leave such a detailed review — we really appreciate it. Flat Move with Storage I had to put most of my belongings into storage while waiting for my new place to be ready, and MTC Removals made the whole process stress-free. The team arrived with plenty of protective blankets and packing supplies, loaded everything efficiently, and took it to the storage facility. What impressed me most was how neatly they arranged everything inside the unit it wasn’t just thrown in, but carefully stacked so I could still access things if I needed them. Months later, when it was time to move into the new flat, they returned to collect everything from storage and delivered it without a single item damaged. Their attention to detail and care with my things gave me real peace of mind. They’re not just strong movers, they’re genuinely thoughtful about making the move as easy as possible for the customer.

Office Relocation (70+ staff) Our company recently used MTC Removals for a large office relocation, moving over 70 staff from EC2 to SE1. From start to finish, the process was flawless. The project manager visited beforehand to assess the scope and created a clear plan so downtime was minimal. On moving day, the crew arrived early, provided crate hire for our files and IT equipment, and protected the floors and lifts at both locations. They dismantled and reassembled more than 70 desks and chairs, transported all monitors and computers safely, and ensured everything was set up at the new office so staff could get back to work quickly. The level of organization was outstanding it really felt like they had thought of every detail. Considering the scale of the move, I was amazed at how smoothly it went. This is a company that takes commercial relocations seriously, and I would recommend them to any business.

Response from the owner:Thank you, Alexandra, for your detailed 5-star review! We’re delighted to hear that your large office relocation from EC2 to SE1 went so smoothly. House Move with Packing Service MTC Removals were absolutely brilliant from the moment we booked them. The office kept in touch in the days leading up to the move and delivered packing materials early, which was a huge help. On moving day, the team arrived on time and immediately put us at ease. They carefully packed our fragile kitchenware, labelled everything clearly, and dismantled our bed and wardrobe so they could move safely. At the new house, they reassembled everything perfectly and even helped us decide the best layout for some of the heavier furniture. What I really appreciated was how calm and organized they were throughout the day no rushing, no stress, just efficient and friendly service. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend MTC to anyone looking for a reliable moving company.

Case Study :

I was overjoyed when my old customer called to ask if we could help them move, since we are the go-to West London removals company for many new and returning customers.

We had helped them move a few years back and they were more than happy with the service.

I put together a team of 4 professional movers and sent them over to West Hampstead to pack everything up. It was a big job – there were 3 bedrooms worth of furniture, not to mention all the other belongings. But the team worked quickly and efficiently, and by the end of day one, they had everything packed up and ready to go.

On day 2, we completed the move using 4 house movers and 2 Luton vans. There were some tricky stairs at the destination address, but with a bit of maneuvering we got everything in place. The customer was thrilled with how smoothly the move went – it was definitely thanks to our great team!

Hampstead Heath is a large, ancient London park, covering 320 hectares. The area first appeared in records from 986 as ‘Hemstede’, when Ethelred the Unready gifted one of his servants a parcel of land here. In 1873, the Heath was bought by the Metropolitan Board of Works to save it from being built over. Today, it is managed by eight London boroughs: Camden, Westminster, Haringey, Barnet, Brent, Waltham Forest, Hammersmith and Fulham. The panoramic views over London from Parliament Hill, in the south-east corner of Hampstead Heath, are protected by law. Hampstead Heath has over 25 ponds. Most of these are in two distinct chains: Highgate Ponds, which includes the men’s and ladies’ bathing ponds and a model boating pond, and Hampstead Ponds, which features a mixed-sex bathing facility. In addition to its many ponds and scenic views, Hampstead Heath is also home to a variety of wildlife, including foxes, hedgehogs and squirrels. Hampstead and Highgate are two of the most desirable and affluent neighborhoods in all of London. With picturesque cobbled streets lined with beautiful period properties overlooking the iconic Hampstead Heath, these neighborhoods are home to some of the most sought-after real estate in the city. Indeed, homes with sweeping views of this iconic green space can command stratospheric prices, while more modestly priced Victorian terraces and mansion blocks provide a comfortable living within this idyllic setting. What makes Hampstead in North London such a Desirable Location?

Hampstead in North London is one of the most desirable locations in all of England. What sets it apart from other places? Historically, Hampstead became popular among wealthy individuals for its relative proximity to London, but also for the healthy living conditions that it offered. Compared to the bustling, smelly, and disease-ridden city of London, Hampstead had fresh air and natural springs with pristine water that provided an ideal place for those wishing to escape the hustle and bustle.
Today, Hampstead remains a popular choice among residents and tourists alike due to its charming atmosphere and unrivaled beauty. From its leafy streets lined with quaint boutiques, hillsides dotted with stunning mansions, and picturesque green spaces full of rolling hills and lush greenery, Hampstead truly has something for everyone. Whether you are looking to relax or explore, you can find everything you need right here in this idyllic corner of North London. So if you are looking for a place where you can savor the best of British culture while enjoying all the benefits of London living, then look no further than Hampstead!

London property: which neighbourhood is better, West Hampstead or West Kensington?

When it comes to London property, there can be no easy answer to the question of which neighbourhood is better: West Hampstead or West Kensington. Both are highly sought-after areas, offering a great combination of convenience and privacy.
I have lived in West Hampstead, and I can say without hesitation that this neighbourhood truly has a lot to offer. It is located right in the heart of London, but it is far enough away from the city’s worst traffic and noise that you can enjoy a feeling of peace and serenity. Plus, given its rising real estate values, West Hampstead must also be one of London’s most desirable neighbourhoods.
On the other hand, Kensington has its own unique charms as well. Due to its reputation as one of London’s most affluent neighbourhoods, this area attracts residents with deep pockets and high standards. But despite its reputation for luxury, Kensington still maintains a friendly, relaxed vibe. With such a wide range of amenities at your doorstep, you may never want to leave!
So while deciding between these two neighbourhoods may not be an easy task, anyone lucky enough to call London home would surely consider themselves lucky indeed. Whether you choose West Hampstead or West Kensington, you’re sure to find a neighbourhood that you’ll love.
When it comes to choosing between West Hampstead and West Kensington, it really depends on what you’re looking for in a neighbourhood. If you want to be in the heart of London and enjoy a feeling of peace and serenity, then West Hampstead is the perfect choice. However, if you’re looking for luxury and convenience, then Kensington is the ideal neighbourhood for you. Whichever neighbourhood you choose, you’re sure to find a place that you’ll love calling home.

Which is a better London suburb for a family with dogs, Kingston or Hampstead?

When it comes to choosing between Kingston and Hampstead, both are attractive options for families with dogs. While Kingston is a bit further out of central London than Hampstead, it has the benefit of being close to the scenic Thames River. Both locations are also close to some of London’s largest and most beautiful parks, making them perfect playgrounds for active pups and their human companions.
For those looking for something a bit more urban and centrally located, Hampstead may be the better choice. It is typically considered one of London’s most desirable neighborhoods, with plenty of shops, restaurants, and other amenities at your fingertips. However, if you plan on living or working in the city or west end, then Kingston might be a better option; it is quieter and more affordable than many other London suburbs. Ultimately, it all depends on your individual preferences and needs – both Kingston and Hampstead are great areas in their own right!
